How to choose the right timing belt wheel

How to choose the eye synchronous belt wheel

The synchronous pulley is also called a synchronous pulley or pulley, and is generally made of aluminum alloy, steel, cast iron, nylon, copper, and other materials, among which aluminum alloy and steel are the most common.

It is widely used in automation equipment, machine tools, cigarettes, metallurgy, medical, laser, textile, printing, food packaging and other new mechanical equipment transmission, with synchronous belt use.

Timing pulley is an indispensable part in the work of many big guys, and it is also a very important part. And it is widely used in the field of transmission. Compared with the advantages of chain transmission, it has the advantages of stable transmission, high transmission efficiency, and good heat resistance of the product. It is no exaggeration to say that as long as it is the place where mechanical transmission is needed, synchronous belt wheels must be used.

The inner hole of the synchronous belt wheel has round hole, D-shaped hole, tapered hole and other forms. Surface treatment of natural color oxidation, black, galvanized, galvanized, high-frequency quenching and other treatments. The accuracy level can be determined according to customer requirements.

First is its design:

The synchronous belt wheel adopts a simplified design scheme, focusing on the transmission power, input speed, transmission ratio, center distance and modulus of the synchronous belt wheel, which can accurately detect the contact strength of the tooth surface and the bending strength of the tooth root. In the drawing design, especially when drawing the user-customized timing pulley, it is necessary to draw according to the specifications, inner hole, model, width, keyway and other dimensions provided by the user. At present, the synchronous belt wheel produced in my country can not only meet the requirements of domestic equipment, but also maintain a good level with imported synchronous belt wheels.

BF is the shape of the pulley, which can be divided into type B without flange (only the gear tooth part BF with stopper at both ends and the gear part BS without stopper) and type A with flange, that is, there is a section of cylindrical flange (AF type with stopper and AS type without stopper) besides the gear tooth part with stopper at both ends.

Followed by its features:

1. The transmission is accurate, there is no sliding when working, and it has a constant transmission ratio;

2, smooth transmission, with buffer, vibration reduction capacity, low noise;

3, high transmission efficiency, up to 0.98, energy saving effect is obvious;

4, easy maintenance, no lubrication, low maintenance costs;

5. The speed ratio range is large, generally up to 10, the linear speed can reach 50 m/s, and it has a large power transmission range, which can reach several watts to several hundred kilowatts;

6, can be used for long-distance transmission, the center distance can reach more than 10m;

7, no pollution, can work normally in places where pollution is not allowed and the working environment is relatively bad.

Next are the specifications:

There are many specifications and models of synchronous belt wheels. According to the tooth profile, they can be roughly divided into square tooth synchronous belt wheels, circular arc tooth synchronous belt wheels, and trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt wheels.

1. Specifications and models of square tooth synchronous pulley

MXL 、 XL 、 L 、 H 、 XH 、 xxh

Square tooth synchronous belt wheel is currently the most widely used in the market.

2. Specifications and models of semi-circular arc tooth synchronous pulley

  S2M、S3M、S4.5M、S5M、S8M、S14M、8YU

Semi-circular arc tooth synchronous belt wheel is high torque synchronization or high precision synchronization, high production accuracy requirements.

3. Specifications and models of full circular arc tooth synchronous belt pulley

  HTD3M、HTD5M、HTD8M、HTD14M、HTD20M

The full arc tooth synchronous belt wheel has high transmission precision and low noise.

4. Specifications and models of precise arc tooth synchronous pulley

  1.5GT、2GT、3GT、5GT

The tooth type synchronous belt wheel is generally used for high precision transmission and used in automatic control equipment.

5. Revised specifications and models of circular arc tooth synchronous belt pulley

  P2M、P3M、P5M、P8M

Correction of tooth type of arc tooth synchronous belt wheel for rabbit tooth type

Good turning effect, suitable for high-speed transmission, generally used for mechanical equipment.

6. Specifications and models of trapezoidal tooth synchronous pulley

  T2.5、T5、T10、T20

The ladder type is full ladder type tooth, which is more suitable for light load transmission.

7. Specifications and models of AT type tooth synchronous pulley

  AT5、AT10、AT20

The difference between AT type tooth type and T type is arc tooth at the bottom, the transmission will be more precise, the transmission gap will be small, of course, the noise will be small, suitable for heavy load transmission.

Finally, the matters needing attention when installing the synchronous wheel:

1. When installing the timing belt, if the center distance of the two pulleys can be moved, the center distance of the pulleys must be shortened, the timing belt must be installed, and then the center distance must be reset. If there is a tension wheel, first loosen the tension wheel, then install the timing belt, and then install the tension wheel.

2. When installing the timing belt on the pulley, remember not to use excessive force or pry open the timing belt with a screwdriver to prevent the tensile layer in the timing belt from breaking that cannot be detected by the naked eye. When designing the pulley, it is best to choose a structure where the two shafts can be close to each other. If the structure does not allow, it is best to install the timing belt and pulley on the corresponding shaft.

3. Control the appropriate initial tension.

4. During the driving process of the timing belt, the parallelism of the two pulley shafts is required to be relatively high, otherwise the timing belt will deviate or even jump out of the pulley during the working process. The non-parallel axis will also cause uneven pressure, resulting in early wear of the belt teeth.
